Message from the President
Lana Hsu '64 President

The year 2004 has almost come to an end, and we are going to celebrate the holiday again by hosting a Christmas party on November 26, 2004. This year's party will take place at the Grand Baccus Banquet Hall. The change in venue is a sign that the committee is responding to the ideas and suggestions from you, the alumni.

This year's AGM and election of the directors will take place prior to our Christmas party. I would like to emphasize that we depend on you to keep the association strong and dynamic. Please join the committee and get involved.

This past summer, more than 70 people attended our summer BBQ picnic. It was a BIG hit! Gourmet food, perfect weather, scenic location, educational first aid talk and a fun- filled treasure hunt. Thanks to the alumni who helped to make the food extra yummy. Among the delicious food we had beef steak, marinated satay chicken and grilled portabella mushroom salad... I would like to extend a big thank you to the committee for all their hard work that made this a great success. An encore has been requested for next summer. Stay tuned.

The November issue of our newsletter will be our 14th ,which means we have been publishing it for the past seven years. In this issue, we feature articles and pictures from many cities. The objective of our newsletter is to communicate and link up alumni all over the world. Our success depends on your contribution of articles and information. Thank you to all who participated and I am urging all of you to share with us your writing, pictures, poems, etc. I also want to thank Madam Ho Kok Wong for helping us in the editing department. It adds much needed creditability.

Mostly I would like to thank all the directors for your endless effort and time in keeping the flame alive. You are simply awesome.

Last but not least, thank you for your continued support and participation.

See you all at the next event!
