View more pictures from England It is indeed friendship and shared values developed from St. Mark's school days that has bind us together over the past 4 decades! What news can we share with our wider St. Markan family? Well, it is a joy always when we do meet up particularly on special occasions.....2 ordination services, a 30th wedding anniversary thanksgiving, a wedding and a long-standing June BBQ of ‘friends together’ & visits of 2 old St. Markans to London. Between us, we have 3 husbands, 3 sons, 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law and a most grandson of all - Maxwell. Each is unique & special......& here are some photos for you to enjoy! The most extraordinary feature in our midst is that 5 of us have all taken early retirement and develop our life-long passions into a second career!! From this we now have 3 ordained ministers, a much-sought-after photographer and a Ph D researcher & lecturer in the NHS. Most extraordinary too is that another one of us has returned to practice in community public health nursing after 23 years of absence!! We are thankful to the St. Markan spirit and tradition in shaping our lives with love, joy, hope & a sense of purposeful living. Let us pass it on indeed! |
